“We see many benefits from the iglide® bearings. They reduce friction, are lighter weight than bronze and cleaner to work with. They also offer major cost savings, which is great for us and our customers.”

Cost effective, user friendly, and versatile

These versatile, user-friendly and cost-effective camera jibs for the film and video production industries are perfect for moving camera shots.

While searching for an alternative solution to bronze bushings, the company behind the design of these production tools came across igus®’ line of iglide® G300 and M250 plastic bushings.

iglide® G300’s ability to handle high loads means it can easily carry expensive and heavy video cameras weighing up to 50 pounds. They enable the cameras to pivot up and down in a smooth, seesaw motion.

The plastic bushings prevent corrosion between the aluminum rod of the jib and the steel nuts and bolts. They also offer substantial cost savings.
