This machine opens and empties all types of cans. Holes are punched in the bottom of the can and pneumatic pressure squeezes any liquid out so that the cans can be recycled.

One challenge for the plain bearings used was the limited installation space and high mechanical stressing involved. These problems were solved with iglide® plastic bushings. The prototype machine has shown no wear for the past five years.
