1. e-chain® links removable on both sides 2. Cable-friendly width for plastic crossbars 3. Stop dog with "brake" for noise reduction 4. Enclosed and open areas can be combined 5. Pivoting and removable e-tube lid 6. Optimized gliding surfaces 7. Interior separation in many versions 8. KMA mounting bracket with "all around" fastening possibility 9. Rigid or pivoting mounting brackets available 10. Strain relief can be integrated in the mounting bracket
E4/00-NC = e-chain® also available without pretension Available inner widths Bi: 40 up to 300 mmAvailable bending radii R: 55 up to 250 mmPitch: 46 mm / Link = 22 Links/m
* The required clearance height is HF = H + 40 mm (at 1 kg/m additional load), this should be observed for all types of applications. Please consult igus® if space is particurlarly restricted.
** The calculated length corresponds to the chain length without mounting brackets.
A= Moving end, B= Fixed endPitch: 46 mm per linkLink per m: 22Travel: SChain length = S/2 + K
The unsupported length is dependent on the additional load X-axis: Unsupported length in m FLB/FLG Y-axis Additional load in kg/m Lower scale: Travel S in m FLB = unsupported with permitted sag FLG = unsupported with straight upper run
starting at 10m up to max. 200mChain length = S/2+K2Long travels - gliding (up to max. 200m) In this case, the e-chain® upper runglides on the lower run in a guide trough. We recommend the project planning of such a system to be undertaken by our technicians. For travels between 4,0 and 10 m we recommend a larger unsupported E-Chain®.

Option 1: Separators and spacers
Option 2: Intermediate shelves
Standard 01 igus® separators are mounted every 2nd chain link as a standard!
2201 Standard separator for e-chains®
is used for vertical
division. It can also be used for forming simple vertical/horizontal divisions by its clearances.
Separators (e.g. lying "on the side") can be fixed in position
by means of spacers 205.09 for e-chains®. The available inner height is reduced by 2 mm for each spacer and side. In order to avoid this, the parts can also be mounted from the outside on the crossbar (not for long ranges)
Side plate 2203
Side plate 2203 and full-width shelf 220.X - This option
is recommended if many thin cables are used with
similar or the same diameters. It is based upon vertical separator 2201 (7603 for e-tube R760) is put in place and the shelf is inserted into the separator’s slots. If a shelf should only be laterally held, the side plate 2203 is used for E-Chain® 220 For e-tubes this solution is not possible
Variant 2: Intermediate shelves igus® separators are mounted every 2nd chain link as standard!
Side plates 2204, slotted separators 2202 and intermediate shelves
2200.X form the basic grid structure of a shelf system. At a height grid of 5 mm, intermediate shelves of various widths can be arranged in 3 levels
Side plate 6002
same as separators. Allows a rack-like division up to the side links. No minimum gap necessary!
Intermediate shelf 2200.X
For horizontal separation. Intermediate shelves can be arranged in 3 levels and in various widths.

Aluminum "Super Trough"- the igus® standard
The Aluminum "SuperTrough" is a modular guide trough system for long travels (when E-Chains® glide on themselves, as per sketch). Aluminum "SuperTrough" is available in low cost "basic versions" and can be upgraded for heavy duty applications. This universal usage makes it the igus® recommended new standard trough system.
1. Connection element
2. Plastic glide bar
3. Bottom clamp
4. Glide strip
New! A quick fix for mounting the fixed end of an E-Chain®.
With this new module for the fixed end, fast and
easy mounting onto the Aluminum "SuperTrough"
is now possible without any drilling.
