Other installation types
Option 1: Separators and spacers igus® separators are fitted every 2nd chain link as standard!
Standard separator 6401 for e-chains® offers secure stability under load with its wide base, even for large cables and hoses
Separators can be fixed in position by means of spacers 405.XX for side-mounted e-chains® .
The available inner height is reduced by 2 mm for each spacer
and side. To prevent this, parts can also be installed from the outside onto the opening crossbar (not on long travels) XX = width of spacer (choice of 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 mm)
The locking separator for e-chains® 6408 is used in applications with very high humidity, e.g. composting plants.
The side notch is used to ensure the correct alignment of the separators - if they are misaligned, the e-chain® can only
be opened by damaging the separators.
Option 2: Shelves

420.X allow a flexible separation structure. Shelves of various widths can be
arranged in steps of 7 mm on 15 levels
The slotted separator 6405, which is open on one side,
can be integrated later without removing the existing
interior separation system.
For installing the open slotted separators, the top and bottom slots cannot be used for shelves
Roll clip – Minimises the abrasion of particularly
sensitive hoses. It is simply clamped onto the opening crossbar. The rollers compensate for movement between the hose and the e-chain®.
